The rule of thumb for all dogs is E-D-A, Exercise-Discipline-Affection. All dogs need at least 45 minutes of exercise 5 to 6 times a week. Exercise will bring your dog to a calmer state of mind. A calmer state of mind will open up the dog to receive discipline. Discipline are the commands the owner gives the dog. Affection is when the dog owner praises the dog for doing what was asked of them. Thus, COMMAND and PRAISE is the best way to train your dog.
